Terms and Conditions
With the following relationship between the client and the tour guide Daniela Ganz is regulated. By booking a tour, the client accepts these conditions.
The subject matter of the contract and scope of these terms and conditions refers only to the tours offered and carried out by Daniela Ganz. The contract is considered concluded when the service requested by the client has been confirmed in writing.
2. Number of participants
A group should have a maximum of 30 participants. Larger groups are only possible in exceptional cases (e.g. tours with the group's own bus) by prior arrangement.
There is no minimum number of participants, special rates can be offered for small groups of up to 6 people.
A booking is made when the conditions have been confirmed in writing. The client receives a written order confirmation.
4. Fees and prices
a) All prices mentioned do not include admission fees, drinks or food, unless otherwise stated. In principle, all services ordered and confirmed in writing are to be paid for.
b) The period for calculating the fee begins with the arrival of the group to be led, at the latest, however, at the agreed start of the tour.
c) If the duration of the tour is extended at the request of the client, an additional fee of 1 hour is due for an extension of up to 60 minutes.
d) Any additional costs (e.g. admission to buildings / museums, transport, additional tours, etc.) must be paid in cash by the client directly on site.
e) If the client does not use the agreed services in whole or in part without the tour guide being responsible, although the tour guide is willing and able to provide the service, the client has no right to a reduction or reimbursement of the fee.
f) All prices are given in Euro and do not include sales tax according to § 19 UStG for small businesses.
g) The fee for the tour is paid directly to the tour guide in cash; payment is immediately confirmed by receipt or invoice.
5. Delays / waiting times
The start and duration of a tour is as agreed, this means, in the event of delays by the client, the time of the tour can be shortened accordingly. Delays must be reported by both parties within 30 minutes. A longer waiting time is not reasonable without information. If the client does not appear without prior cancellation, the entire price of the tour is due.
6. Withdrawal / cancellation / change
a) Group tours up to max. 4 hours (by foot or combined foot / bus tours)
The client and the tour guide can withdraw from the contract free of charge at any time during normal business / office hours (on workdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) up to 48 hours before the agreed date. In principle, a cancellation is only recognized and effective once it has been confirmed. In the event of short-term cancellation by the client, the tour guide is entitled to a fee:
- 50% of the fee is due up to 24 hours before the agreed date
- cancellations less than 24 hours before the agreed date or if the group does not show up without prior cancellation or if the tour guide waits for more than 30 minutes, the entire fee is due.
b) Half-day or full-day trips
The client and the tour guide can cancel the order free of charge up to seven working days before the appointment. In the event of short-term cancellation by the client, the tour guide is entitled to a fee:
- 30% of the fee is due from the 7th to 4th working day before the start of the tour
- from the 3rd working day before the start of the tour 75% of the fee is due
- If less than 24 hours before the agreed date or if the group does not show up or if the tour guide waits for more than 30 minutes, the entire fee is due.
Liability is expressly limited to the fulfillment of the scope of the booked tour as well as its time frame and agreed price. The tour guide is not liable to the client and his companions, Claims for damages are excluded.
8. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (e.g. severe storms), a tour may not be possible. The client and the tour guide can, if possible, change the tour or postpone the date or cancel the booked tour.
Otherwise, the tour generally takes place in all weathers, rain and snowfall do not fall under the definition of "force majeure".
9. Website content
Of course, the homepage is always kept up-to-date and with correct content so that the offer appears complete.
However, the occurrence of errors on the homepage cannot be completely ruled out, therefore no liability is assumed for the actuality, correctness of content or the completeness of the information described on the homepage. Unless it concerns deliberately or grossly negligent errors. This notice refers to any material or non-material damage to third parties caused by the use of this website.
